Sinch likes to make things easy, it doesn't confuse the issue with bundles that take a PhD to work out.

Sinch is proudly Christchurch based - call them and you'll get someone who speaks in plain simple English, no jargon and someone based right here in the heart of the South Island.

After all - you just want internet access and it really shouldn't be hard.

With sinch you can get a static ip address and the majority of plans are IPv6 ready as part of the package.

I switched to these guys after being very disappointed with Bigpipe... they 'churned' my ADSL connection for free, gave me a free static IPv4 & IPv6 /56 and I'm not tied into a contract so I haven't had much to complain about (apart from a major, 14 hour, outage thanks to a leap-second bug; and a support line that goes unanswered outside business hours).
Pros
I think they really prefer to deal with businesses, or if you're a tech-savvy user who for example wants, they're pretty good.
Cons
Don't seem to do free connections (for ADSL, maybe they could for a churn) or free static addressing anymore, plus when I switch to fibre I might have to commit to a term contract... I have found better fibre pricing for an open term, with free router and IPv6, so now that it's finally in my street I've gone elsewhere while paying approximately what I was paying for ADSL. ...read more
